Weekly Summer Dance Camps From June 27th - August 26th

Please note that all camps list an average age recommended for the curriculum that will be covered during that camp. Ages are simply a guideline, please see Miss Carissa if you have a question upon placement of your child into a specific camp.

Splash into Summer Camp

What goes better with warm Summer weather than
WATER and DANCE! Bathing suits are a must this week as we explore mermaids, what dancing “under the sea” is like, and how creative we can get with just some simple tools and water! A water themed snack is provided each day for our campers. You certainly don’t want to miss out on this adventurous week full of splashes!

A Week at the Spa Camp

This week our campers will get pampered as we learn about facials, make-up, manicures, pedicures, and so much more! Special guests will be popping by this week such as massage therapists, yoga instructors, hair stylists, and nutritionists (just to name a few) to teach our campers some new tricks. This week is all about taking care of both our mind AND bodies, and how dance takes care of our soul!

Bluey & Bingo Block Party

Campers this week will explore ALL styles of dance, from tap to jazz, hip-hop to acrobatics, and so much more. The best part is it's all to the tunes of 2 of our favorite TV characters! Our whole week, including dance classes, crafts, and snacks, will be focused on Bluey & Bingo and all of their TV friends. It's week that'll keep our youngest of campers engaged and smiling!

Candyland Camp

Who doesn’t love a sweet treat!? Come explore lots of fun this week as we dance our way through our own life sized candyland board game. Campers will be exploring all styles of dance this week along with lots of surprise treats thrown in also! Don’t forget that your sweet snacks are included all week long too!

Slumber Party Camp

Slumber parties are full of dance parties, pillow fights, fort building, karaoke, and basically no sleep... and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing at this week of camp! We’ll even be wrapping up the end of the week with an actual sleepover at the studio!!! (Optional of course). You won’t want to miss this unforgettable week of fun and friendships!

WILD about Dance Camp

Lions, Tigers & Bears oh my! Join us on an African Safari this week as we explore all sorts of WILD animals through dance and movement. DBA will be turning into a zoo all week long. Snacks and crafts each day will coincide with our animal of the day.

9th Annual Princess Camp

Calling all Princesses! This week is geared for our younger dancers who dream everyday of becoming a princess! Each individual day will focus on a different Princess character as we gear our dance time, craft project, snack, and story time around that particular princess of the day! Dancers will be introduced to all genres of dance throughout their time at Princess Camp. A great camp for our younger dancers to learn what classes they enjoy the most, and of course leave feeling as if they are a Princess themselves!

2nd Annual Queen Academy

So many of our campers over the years have "graduated" from Princess Camp but aren't quite ready to leave behind the DBA tradition of Royal Week, so we've created a step up from Princess Camp with our Queen Academy! A great opportunity for our older campers to still experience the magic of being a Princess but in a bit more mature of a way! Each day will still focus on a different Princess and genre of dance along with our snack and craft time. However, in Queen Academy, we'll also spend some more time learning all the prim & proper ways the world of Royalty works.

Escape Room Camp

Ready to find out if you can escape the perils of the jungle with your WILD friends? Unlock all the summer fun with The Escape Club: Wild About Dance...a dance camp with an escape room twist! Dancers will go wild unlocking secret codes each day with fun dance activities! Through immense teamwork, super sleuthing, and lots of dance moves, clues will be revealed...but will the dancers break the code and make it out of the jungle by the end of the camp!? Grab your fun animal print attire to find out, and get ready to dance your way through a WILD adventure!

All About Acro Jr. Edition Camp

A junior edition of our ever popular All About Acro camp. A great camp for our youngest tumblers and dancers alike, to enhance their tumbling skills. If your child loves being upside down more than right side up, this might be the perfect camp for them to get some of their summertime energy out!

Ages: Beginner to Intermediate Acrobats

All About Acro Camp

Our dancers in attendance at this camp will probably spend more time on their hands than their feet. That's because this week is all about acrobatics! From flexibility to strength, contortion to power, teamwork to self-achieved goals, we'll touch on it all during this fan favorite camp!

Ages: Intermediate to Advanced Acrobats

Performance Company Camp

This week is required for all 2023-2024 Performance Company dancers. Our week together will be full of technique, choreography, and team building as we kick off the start of a new season together. With multiple guest teachers coming in, our company dancers will be challenged and pushed to new levels in addition to your very own DBA staff getting multiple rounds of choreography started for our upcoming season! Our week together will culminate in an exciting field trip!

Extended After Care

$15 per hour

This year we're offering extended after care (on certain weeks) for parents looking for childcare for a full 6 hour day! Campers can pack a lunch and afterwards be fully entertained with both indoor and outdoor games & activities.
